Blanca Diaz-Martinez

May 5, 1966 — June 28, 2022

Camden

Blanca Diaz Martinez was born on May 5, 1966 in Santa Isabel, Puerto Rico. At the age of 30, she moved to the United States. She lived in Camden, New Jersey for 26 years. There, she had the pleasure of meeting and sharing with many neighbors and making friends. Her favorite hobby was calling all the relatives that she had on her phone, starting with her children and ending with her grandchildren. Every day she had a new story to tell them and even though sometimes she told the same stories, they all listened to her all over again. She had a genuine way of entertaining the family on the phone daily.

Her father was Jose Diaz Cruz and her mother is Maria Arcelia Martinez. Her children are Joshua Ortiz Diaz, Ruben Daniel Ortiz Diaz, Glendalis Ortiz Diaz, Zuan Marys Ortiz Diaz, and Ingrid Maria Ortiz Diaz. Her grandchildren are Yionellys Ortiz, Yiornel Ramirez, Hector Oneisy Diaz, Yanialis Nieves, Yaneisy Diaz, Yiorquan Eliel Cordero, Geremiah Daniel Nieves, Yiornniel Cordero, Joshua Jariel Ortiz Sanchez, Danielisse Mariah Ortiz and Noah Ortiz. Her sisters are Haydee Diaz Martinez, Blanca Iris Diaz Matinez, Santos Diaz Tricoche, Rebeca Diaz Tricoche, Gloria Diaz Tricoche, Marcela Diaz Tricoche y Virginia Diaz Tricoche.Blanca has left a very big void in the hearts of the people who have passed through her life, especially in that of her children and grandchildren. For her children, she was a good mother, but for her grandchildren she was the best grandmother and person in the world. She became a child to deal with them, to the point that the grandchildren always wanted to be around her, because they knew they had a great grandmother and a loyal accomplice in their lives. For those who knew her, they know that her life apart from her children were her grandchildren and the title as best grandmother, she took that with her. This is how we will all remember her, with love and gratitude for the beautiful moments that she left engraved in the lives of her relatives.

She will be deeply missed and will always remain in our hearts!
