"Tito" Tyrone Santos

Tyrone “Tito” Rafael Santos was born to Rafael Flores, Sr. of PR. and Matilda Santos (both deceased), in Philadelphia, Pa on January 12, 1952.

Tito attended Philadelphia schools and graduated from Bartram high school.

Tito met and married the love of his life Marilynn Santos (deceased), and had six beautiful children together. They moved to Camden, New Jersey from Philadelphia, PA. Where they raised their family.

Tito was quiet, a very private and soft spoken person.  He loved his family. Growing up he was known as the “golden child”;  his mother loved him so much!! He was the youngest son from his mom and oldest child from his dad.

Tito was a boxer and admired Muhammad Ali, hoping to meet him someday. He studied Islam. He enjoyed reading and watching TV. His favorite Football team is the Eagles. He loved sports! He loved to visit his son, Kenya Santos, with the family... He loved to have gatherings in his home with his family. He loved to eat. Our dad had a nice smile. We were impressed by him because he was still youthful for his age... played football with grandsons, and  he always went for walks. He always wore dress pants with a button up shirt and sneakers.  He liked to play his electric  football game that he got for Christmas when he was young, and he kept the game for years.... and he loved music.

Tito is predeceased by his parents: Rafael Flores, Sr. Matilda Santos grand mom Myrtle Santos, granpa Payne Santos, Ex-wife Marilynn Santos, Oscar Acworth,  Glenda Mamaril, Crystal Acworth,  Victor Flores, Rafael Flores, Sr., Opelia Wiggins.

Tito is survived by his children Tyrone (Ibn) Santos, (Dawn Hunsinger Santos) of NJ., Kenya Santos, of PA, Rasheed Santos (Christina Busard) of NJ,  Lateef Santos (Erika De’Shields Santos) of DE; his only daughter, Wadeeah Santos of NJ; and son Ali Santos, of NJ. His siblings sister, Angelina Santos (George Hart), Antonio Santos, (Sandra), Lamont Santos, La’Rosa Santos Keith (William Keith) PA, Patsy Santos PA, Wilfredo Flores, Luis Flores, Edwin Flores, Maribel Flores, Elizabeth Flores Perth Amboy, NJ, Rosa Flores Barnegat, NJ,  Luz Flores, Lydia Flores , Rafael Flores, Jr., Ramonita  Velez from Vineland, NJ, Mary Pagan from Lancaster, PA,  grandkids; Tyrone Santos, Jr., Mercedes Santos, Florida, Nah'Azia Santos, Nasisir Peddiford Santos, Nasir  Santos, Destiny Santos, Nevaeh Santos, De'Aja Santos, Xavier Santos, Davianna Santos, and Daneen Santos; three great grandchildren from Florida; and a host of nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles and cousins; He had a bonus family, Earlene Acworth.
