Sanford Marks born April 10, 1938, to the late Homer and Esther Marks in Cleveland, Ohio. The 4th child of 9 children. He attended Cleveland public schools.
In 1955 he joined the U.S. Army, after his enlistment he decided to make the military his career.
In 1962 he married Josephine Walston and with their son Robert became a Military family, as a Military man he got to travel to many states and countries, California, Virgina, Georgia, France, Spain, Korea and was a Vietnam Veteran. His Wife and son were able to go to France with him, but most of his time was spent at Fort Dix New, Jersey and after 24 years he retired and made New Jersey his home; still a young man he went to work as a Supervisor at the Johnson and Johnson company for 20 years.
He was a devoted Mason and Lodge Brother. He enjoyed the Sportage life of going to the Casinos with his friends.
He was preceded in death by his wife Josephine Marks 5 of his siblings: Polly, Homer Jr., William, Barbara, and Delores.
He leaves to mourn son Robert, 2 sisters and brother: Evelyn Stephens of Mansfield, Ohio, Donald (Patricia)Marks of Warrensville Heights, Oho and Carolyn Wheeler of Cleveland, Ohio.
