Ricky Sturdivant was born October 18, 1957 to Martha Jane Clark and Henry D. Sturdivant.
Ricky attended Camden City School where he obtained his GED. He was a loving Son, Father, Brother and Cousin. Ricky was an all-time, all-around favorite guy. He loved being among family. He especially had his favorites; his niece Shonda, (Ree-ree), Darlene (Dee-Dee) and let’s not forget his Nephew, Charleston, who deceased before him.
Ricky loved to cook and dance. Most of all he loved to dress. He was very family oriented, hard-working, and was always on the go. Ricky loved his grandchildren more than life. He loved and lived his life to the fullest. No regrets running, wild in the wind with his great big heart. He was caring and would do anything for anyone. He was always the life of the party.
Ricky leaves to cherish his memory his eight (8) children; five (5) daughters, Lakia Clark-Still (also known as little Ricky), Lakiesha Jones (his pumpkin), Latoya Jones (his bones), Denise Mayo (tay-tay), Lakiea Jackson (Tia); three (3) sons, Tremaine Muse (Butterball), Ricky Muse (Rick), and Adrian Muse; three (3) sisters, Barbara Dixon, Hattie-May Clark, and Geraldine Sturdivant; twenty-two (22) grandchildren, just to name a few - Tyshirah, Tynisa, Shaymiesha, Ta'jon, Treshon, Ja'Naya, Chanee', Billy, Ya'miah, Malik, Zyonna, Wynnter, Salema, and so many more; He also leaves eight (8) great grandchildren, Mikayla, Jay'Shon,Treyanna, Ta’Zuri, Jahnell, Taysir, and more; He leaves a host of nieces and nephews, Shonda Clark- Waters, Giovanni (his GiGi), Tyree, Charleston Jr., Charleston (Chan), and many, many more.
He is predeceased by his three (3) brothers, Henry Jr Clark, also known as "Hank" Eli, and William.
