We gather to remember and celebrate the life of Ray Pratt Jr, affectionately known as "Ray Ray," born on May 17th, 1989 in Camden, New Jersey. He was a beacon of light to all who knew him, radiating love, loyalty, wit, and thoughtfulness in all his interactions. Throughout his life, Ray demonstrated an unwavering commitment to his family and friends - the cornerstone of his existence. His spontaneous humor, combined with his insightful perspectives, made him an unforgettable character who left lasting impressions on all he encountered.

Ray, a loving son to Ray Sr. and Dawn Pratt, was the pride of his parents. He was a loyal brother to Danielle Land and Daryl Coley, and a thoughtful step-son to Shante Pratt. Ray was also a cherished boyfriend to Yesenia (Jess), who adored his witty charm and the warmth of his love. He was a beloved brother-in-law to Lauren Coley and Michael Land. A host of aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews.

Ray was preceded in death by his grandparents, Augustine Heath, James Pratt, and Liza Pratt, who nourished his spiritual growth and laid the foundation of his strong faith.

Ray's life was an embodiment of the Quranic verse, "And We have certainly created man in the best of stature" (95:4). He was a testament to the beauty of the human spirit, a man of dignity and grace. Even as we mourn his departure, we celebrate Ray's life and the joy he brought into our lives. Our hearts find comfort knowing that he is now reunited with his beloved grandparents.

Ray's life will be commemorated on Monday, March 4th, 2024 at 9:00 AM EST at the Circle of Life Funeral Home located at 812-14 Kaighn Ave, Camden, New Jersey, 08103. As we remember Ray, we invite friends and family to share their precious memories and photos of him on his memorial page.
