Orlando Kane, Sr.

Orlando Jarvis Kane, Sr., known affectionately as "Curly" by his friends and family, passed away on August 16, 2026, surrounded by his loving family. Born on May 11, 1962, in Camden, NJ, Orlando was a dedicated, charismatic, loving, and resilient individual who left an indelible mark on each life he touched. He was a rare combination of someone who loved life and understood what mattered most—the simple joy of living with those you love.

Orlando was a diehard Raiders fan, and he brought the same level of passion to his hobbies of collecting coins, history, and writing poems. His resilience was legendary as he weathered life’s storms with grit and determination. His charismatic personality was infectious and helped him quickly turn strangers into friends. He was a natural-born storyteller, and his friends and family will remember him for his ability to captivate an audience with his stories.

Family mattered the most to Orlando. He was a father to his children, Ashlee, Noelle, Zachary, and Orlando Jr., and a caring son to his mother, Vivian. He was preceded in death by his father, David Crawley.
