Maryellen Fisher

November 13, 1933 — May 21, 2023

Glassboro

Mary Ellen Bayliss Rider Fisher, was born November 13, 1933 to the late Carlton Elmandorf and Sarah Rogers

Elmandorf.  She departed this life on May 21, 2023.

Mary Ellen grew up in Exmore Virginia.  She later  moved to Glassboro, New Jersey where she resided until her passing. She worked as a Homecare provider for the elderly, but that didn’t stop there. She was a mother and grandmother to the whole Glassboro. She was very popular and everyone knew Ms. Maydella whether it was from selling candy, sodas and everything else or from being the best dressed in the Church, Grandma was “fly”. Every Sunday people would wonder what hat she is going to have on next. Grandma was a God fearing woman and was in church every Sunday.  But don’t get her wrong, she would tell you about yourself and get with you in a heartbeat, and most likely throw a little curse word in there lol. Grandma lived a good prosperous life and peacefully went home to be with the Lord with her loved ones around her.

Ms. Maydella as she was fondly called,  leaves to cherish her memories,  her Daughter Linda Dineall Clark (Terrence); Sons Sylvester Elmandorf (The Late Deborah) and Jack Gregory Fisher (Nichole); Grandchildren Shawney,

DeeDee,Tyki, Paris, Decea, Quana, Jack, Terae, Sweetie, Keemie, Tyree, Andrew, Jauwan, Deonte and De’yon; one (1) sister Lucinda Parker; and a host of Great Great Grands, Great Grands, Nieces, Nephews, Aunts, Uncles, family and Friends.

She is predeceased by Andrew Jackson Fisher, her sons,

Brian, Charles “Lucky”, and Andrew “Drew”; her brothers George, Thomas, Danny, Richard, and Marshall; and her sister Emily.
