Luester Bullard

Luester Bullard was born September 4, 1951 to Alex Sr. and Bernice Bullard in Fairville, North Carolina. She moved to Camden, New Jersey at a young age. Luester, also known to family and friends as “Betty Lou” was educated by the Fairville, North Carolina and Camden, New Jersey Public School Systems where she obtained her High School Diploma.

For many years Luester was employed at the Golden Coral, achieving the title of being Head Chef. During this time she accomplished a multitude of achievements awards. Luester was very loving and caring.  She loved spending time with her family especially her grandchildren and great grandchildren. With all this love surrounding her she became Mom Mom. Luester favorite thing she enjoyed was playing cards and going to Bingo with her daughter Tasha and her two special nieces Shalisa Thomas and Tameka Bullard. The best part to Mom Mom besides her unconditional love, she shared was her awesome Cooking. Whether you was family or friends, everybody was addicted to her cooking, stemming from her famous Betty Burgers to her famous Banana Pudding.

She will definitely be missed. 

Luester is preceded in death by her parents Alex Sr. and Bernice Bullard, two grandsons Jay’meir James Fraction and Jahmeir Tashon Fraction; one brother Alex Bullard, Jr., two sisters Jane (Clara Mae) Bullard Biles and Edna Bullard.

Her memory will forever be cherished by her daughter Bernice. Tasha Ann Bullard; two special God daughters Malekah Colvin and Shantiese Hardewick; grandchildren Jaaliyah, Qualekah, Quameer, Quashon, Makayla; great grands Kamorah and Kamari; four (4) Sisters Esther (Marie), Dorothy (Dot), Deletha, (Neet), Alice (Tiny) Bullard; three (3) brothers Bruce, Timothy and Joseph Bullard; A special Sister-in-law Lisa Reyes Bullard; three (3) very special friends Mr. Faulk, Mr. James and Mr. Magee. Luester will be gracefully remembered by her Step Mother Lolanda Bullard, Step Brother and Step Sister Willie and Betty Jean Gordon; and a host of Aunts, Uncles, Nieces, Nephews and Friends.
