It is with a heavy heart that we announce the passing of Julio Victor Morales, lovingly known as "Junior," who passed away on May 5th, 2023 at Cooper Hospital in Camden, NJ, after a long battle with cancer.
Junior was born in San German, Puerto Rico on April 7th, 1951, and was one of seventeen children born to Julio and Margarita Morales. He is preceded in death by Rosa, Lumie, and Evelyn Ortiz, and Faithann Crane.
He found creative ways to make a living. One of his favorite things was driving around town collecting scrap from curbs. He worked as a construction worker and also as a truck driver for Waste Management in Camden before injuring his back.
Junior will be remembered not only for his hard work but also for the kind-hearted person he was. His humility and humor made him well-liked by everyone he met. His greatest achievement in life was raising his children Julian, Juan (Sapo), Freddy, Molly, Delia, Mike, Robert along with his grandchildren.
He had an infectious personality that always put people at ease and will be sorely missed by his siblings: Johnny, Susie, Lily, Neida Wee, Nancy, Mikey, Eddie, Elaine, Evy, Cheeta, Sonia, Jimmy, Danny. A host of family and friends.
Junior had many passions outside of work including playing dominos and drinking his favorite drink Thunderbird wine later switching to MD 2020.
In closing we would like to remember Junior as he always loved to dress to impress. He was a true family man and his legacy will live on for generations. He was loved by all and will be forever missed.
