Jose Figueroa, Jr

Jose D. Figueroa 72, of Camden, New Jersey, sadly passed away on March 6, 2022 surrounded by his children and companion, Judy Negron of many years.

Jose was born on February 18, 1951 to Jose D. Figueroa, Sr. and Hilda Bonano. Jose was a well known Tailor for over 30 years.

He enjoyed listening to his salsa, dancing, playing his Congos and Bongos or stealing one of your pots. He was also an excellent mechanic. He was a jack of all trades.

He had a lot of love for his children and had a “big” impact on a lot of people’s lives. If you had the pleasure of knowing him, you knew he had a Beer in one hand and his Bongos in the other. He was a jokester.

He is survived by his Brothers, Ernesto and Amalio; Sisters, Luz Dejesus, Anna Suarez, Maria Figueroa, Nellie Figueroa, and Nancy Cuevas;     Children, Jose “Joey” Figueroa, Tiny Figueroa Sicard (Wilbert) Jessica Figueroa, Dario Figueroa (Erica), Oscar Figueroa (Wendy), Taina Santiago (Dionicio), Francis Santiago “Pete” (Glorivee); 16 Grandchildren and 7 Great Grandchildren and a host of Nephews and Nieces.
