Franklin Tribbitt

September 18, 1931 — August 16, 2023

Williamstown

Franklin Tribbitt was born on September 15, 1931, to the late Daniel and Sarah (Turner) Tribbitt at the family home in Franklinville, NJ. Frank was one of 13 children. He departed this life on August 16th, 2023.

Educated in the Franklinville township school district, he later became a farmer and machine operator for Krimm and Olsen’s farms. He became skilled as a butcher, mechanic, and many other trades. If you needed your car, furnace, well pump, etc. fixed, you could call on Frank to fix it. Experienced with a torch, he did a lot of iron and welding work in the scrapping business. “A signature profession for the Tribbitt men.” You may also find him fishing and hunting in spare time. To see him, you’d carry the memory of his big infectious smile. Honorably if ever in need and he could help, Frank would come to your aid.

He was predeceased by both his parents Daniel and Sarah, his brothers: William, Daniel, Curtis, Paul, James, Earl and Johnnie, Sisters: Sarah “Liz” Williams, Mary Pugh, Rosetta “Jean” Jones.
