Erold Maitre, an excellent barber known for his great personality and love for music, passed away peacefully at the age of 32 on April 11th, 2023 in Camden, NJ. He was born on November 24th, 1990 in Nippes Haiti .
Erold was a beloved member of his community and touched the lives of many people through his work as a barber. He took pride in his profession and always made sure that his clients left his shop feeling confident and looking their best. Erold had a gift for making people feel at ease with his warm smile and friendly demeanor. One of the things he will be remembered most for is calling every lady who walked into his barbershop "mom" as a sign of respect.
Aside from his career, Erold had many passions in life, including watching the Philadelphia Eagles play football, playing guitar, and piano. He had a natural talent for music and would often play for his friends and family.
Despite the challenges he faced in life, Erold remained respectful and grateful for everything he had. His positive outlook on life was contagious, and he inspired those around him to always see the good in others. His proudest accomplishment was undoubtedly his musical talent, which brought joy to everyone who heard him play.
Erold is survived by his mother Ceelie Jerome, stepmom Ginette Chachat Pierre Louis, father Lecene Maitre, siblings Daphney Henry, Richardson, Keviv, Gregory, Jason, Zachary Maitre, brother-in-law Chalmagne Gilles, children's mother Porsha Williams- son Wensley Clairin daughter Paris Maitre- family friends Kenny Thurston, Germain Germain Lassam Saint along with a host of cousins and friends.
Erold will be deeply missed by all who knew him. His kindness and generosity will live on through those whose lives he touched, and his memory will always be cherished. Rest in peace, Erold.
