Esperanza Toro Rivera, also affectionately, known to family and friends as “Espy”, has sadly passed away on Thursday, July 27, 2023 at the age of 73 years old in Camden, New Jersey. Esperanza was born in Cabo Rojo, Puerto Rico on December 18, 1949.
At the age of seven (7) she moved to Brooklyn, New York where she was raised. Esperanza had eight (8) Children with Pedro Roldan before moving to Camden, New Jersey, where she raised her children. Esperanza worked at the Pennsauken Goodwill for twenty years. Esperanza was a Beautiful Loving Mother, Grandmother, Great-Grandmother, Sister, Aunt, and Friend to many.
Esperanza is survived by her Husband, Pedro Roldan; Seven (7) children Luz Roldan, Omyra Roldan, Jasmine Roldan, Esmeralda Toro, Bernice Toro, Jessica Toro and Danny Toro. Esperanza leaves behind twenty four (24) grandchildren and forty (40) great-grandchildren; her Siblings; Luis Toro, Marilyn Toro, Zenon Toro, Jerman Toro, and Nancy Toro.
Esperanza was predeceased by her Son Victor Toro; parents, Demetria Rivera-Toro and Lupercio Toro; siblings Edwin Toro, Nancy Toro, Migdalia Toro, Wonderman Toro, and Percy Toro.
Esperanza will be deeply missed by so many who knew and Loved her so much.
